但以理說、神的名是應當稱頌的、
從亙古直到永遠，因為智慧能力都屬乎他。
他改變時候、日期、廢王、立王，
將智慧賜與智慧人、將知識賜與聰明人，
他顯明深奧隱祕的事、知道暗中所有的、
光明也與他同居。
He said, “Praise the name of God
forever and ever,
for He has all wisdom and power.
He controls the course of world events;
He removes kings and sets up other kings.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the scholars.
He reveals deep and mysterious things
and knows what lies hidden in darkness,
though He is surrounded by light. (NLT)
